On Twisted Sisters, Season 2,
episode 4, we see the story of Serena Martin and Charity Miranda.
The show is titled, “The
Demon Inside”, and the description provided is “Teenager Charity is a cheerleader who earns good grades and works at the
local pizza parlor; however, to her mother and sisters, Charity is possessed by
a demon that needs to be dealt with.”
Crime
The sister's mother, Vivian Miranda, practiced witchcraft and was unfortunately mentally ill and prone to paranoia. She became obsesses with the thought her child was possessed and needed an exorcism. Serena, anxious to please her mother, went along with the plan that ultimately cut short Charity's life. You cannot write to Serena as she is no longer in custody.

Whomever wrote this is an ignorant fool. Serena is a gentle and kind girl who followed her mother's guidance, as demented as you make the situation sound. And it was a disturbing situation. Her mother just happened to be having a mental illness crisis. Do you think this was INTENTIONAL? It was NOT. Anyone who knows these people, as I did, and do, would realize that this is a tragedy all around the board. Notice i say, "is", because these people live with this every day of their lives, even more than 20 years later.
ReplyDeleteIf you ask me, I'd say that you are an absolute fool who looks for a pat on the back for celebrating the pain of others,and writing it in a clever way. At anyone's expense.
I hope that 5 years after this post, that you have grown,and know that trash talking a person based on what the media says makes YOU the trash. Especially when a beautiful teenager who was well loved and respected has died. Shame on you!
