On Twisted Sisters, Season 2,
episode 3, we see the story of Elena Rendall and Christina Sneary.
The show is titled, “A Shot
in the Dark”, and the description provided is “Two adopted sisters are inseparable until the social pressures of high
school and bullying drive a wedge of violence between them.”
Crime
Both of these girls were adopted from foster care after being affected by alcohol and/or other substances while their mothers were pregnant. While they had been close growing up, as the teen years descended, conflict grew. Elena was homosexual, struggling with her identity, and in an abusive relationship with another young girl. The day of the murder the two girls had had a physical altercation.
For once, the court system recognized there were serious mental health issues. Rendell was sentenced to a brief sentence and received mental health treatment.
You cannot write to Elena Rendall as she is not in custody.
